As ever, the MYBA Charter Show 2023 has an impressive selection of superyachts on the line-up, and YachtCharterFleet is shining the spotlight on some of the must-see charter yachts attending the industry-only yachting event.
Taking place in Barcelona’s iconic Marina Port Vell between 24 April - 27 April, the MYBA Charter Show is a mainstay in the calendar for industry professionals, where the gleaming superyachts are the unassailable stars of the show.
Held across four days, brokers and other industry figures will be able to tour the yachts and gather first-hand information about these vessels and their crew, as well as taking advantage of key networking opportunities while at the show.
With around 35 luxury yachts on the line-up, we have compiled our top picks of some of the most impressive charter yachts making their debut at MYBA 2023.
Built by German shipyard Nobiskrug in 2008, the 73m (240ft) superyacht SIREN is the embodiment of function over form, where focus on outdoor living blurs the boundaries between inside and out.
Her main deck aft serves as a place to sunbathe and lounge before transforming into a dance floor, meanwhile for those who enjoy being close to the water, her beach club is a veritable haven, replete with a lounge area, bar, massage room and gym.
Her crowning sundeck is where all the action takes place on charter, featuring a bar and a spa pool with a waterfall backdrop. This area is converted into an open-air cinema for balmy nights under the stars.
Other standout highlights include a folding helipad aft of the main deck, a drop-down balcony in the master suite study area, a guest study and library, and the capability of seating up to 22 guests at formal dinners in the separate dining salon.
Delivered in 2019 from the redoubtable Benetti shipyard, the eye-catching 63m (207ft) superyacht ARTISAN joined the charter fleet in 2021 after a makeover and name change.
Showcasing the Italian yard's trademark flush foredeck and vertical bow, designed in collaboration with designer Giorgio Cassetta, her exterior spaces work harmoniously with Bannenberg and Rowell’s bold and geometric interiors.
Crowning the yacht, visitors to the show will marvel at ARTISAN's generous sundeck replete with dining area and loungers, alongside a Jacuzzi and convenient bar for all-day refreshments.
She also boasts a spacious waterside beach club with fold-out platforms on all sides providing harmonious connection to the sea, as well as a convenient launching pad onto the yacht's array of water toys and accessories.
Amels’ 55m (180ft) superyacht GALENE is a yacht of contrasts. With a name that derives from an Ancient Greek term meaning serenity, tranquillity and calmness, there are plenty of opportunities for guests to relax, disconnect and recharge their batteries.
Show-goers will see the ideal spot for this is the spacious sundeck with a large Jacuzzi, sleek bar and numerous lounging opportunities. There is also a cosy upper lounge with sofa, armchairs, piano and a games table and an exterior bridge deck with a huge dining table for alfresco meals.
But GALENE is also equally equipped to fulfil the needs of even the most passionate adrenaline lover as she has an expansive toy chest complete with jet-skis, seabobs, paddleboards and more, coupled with highly-trained crew members who are passionate about their watersports.
For charter guests that love to combine the thrill of speed with state-of-of-the-art on board systems and luxurious amenities, the custom-built 44m (144ft) superyacht PANDION PEARL is the complete package.
Delivered in 2021 by the Italian yard Sanlorenzo as part of their 44 Alloy series, the yacht’s sleek appearance is courtesy of Zuccon International, who were responsible for her exteriors, while the German design Studio A. S. H penned her contemporary interiors.
Highlights include a well-equipped gymnasium leading to a Jacuzzi pool and lounging area, a sundeck deck that comes complete with additional sunpads and a convenient wet bar for day-long refreshments, as well as myriad water toys and accessories, including a swimming pool, SeaBobs, electric Fliteboard and huge range of fun inflatables.
Show-goers will also be impressed by her sprawling master apartment that spans across three decks and features a private terrace and pool.
Brand new for 2023, the 33m (108ft) Custom Line yacht OUR WAY is bound to be an exciting addition to the show.
Showcasing a raft of alfresco living spaces and chic interiors that comfortably accommodate up to 10 charter guests, the yacht presents the ideal charter platform for those looking to dip their toes into the charter waters this summer.
