Held annually at the end of April, the MYBA charter show is an important opportunity for the yachting industry to come together and explore some of the latest luxury yacht charters operating in the West Med.
Marking the beginning of the Mediterranean yacht charter season, the MYBA Charter Show is as much a business occasion as it is a celebration of yachting. The industry-only event brings a stellar fleet of superyacht charters, brokerage firms, and yacht crews to beautiful locations around Italy, including Portosole, San Remo.
Organized by MYBA (Mediterranean Yacht Broker Association), the show is a shining example of the association’s dedication to setting, promoting, and upholding high standards across all realms of the yacht rentals and superyacht industry.
The MYBA Charter Show enjoyed 16 successful years in Genoa, Italy, before relocating to various other locations including OneOcean Port Vell in Barcelona, and Portosole, San Remo for the 2025 MYBA Charter Show.
With the latest edition being held in Portosole Marina, in Sanremo, Italy, the MYBA Charter Show hosts a spectacular backdrop in a prestigious harbor with approximately 804 berths, that can accommodate Italy yacht charters up to 90 meters in length. Positioned in a prime place in the Ligurian Riviera, the marina offers top-tier nautical services, including maintenance facilities, restaurants, and shops, making it a prime destination for luxury yachts.
Alongside the fleet of captivating yacht charters, professional visitors to the event can expect exclusive social festivities, workshops, and awards ceremonies to enliven proceedings and create ample networking opportunities.
Renowned for playing host to an extraordinary selection of West Mediterranean yacht charters, the MYBA Charter Show regularly welcomes more than 50 luxury yacht charters to the pontoons, with new and exciting debuts occurring each year.
Proudly showcasing some of the largest names in the yachting industry such as Oceanco, Benetti, and Amels, visiting brokers and industry professionals have an abundance of opportunities to explore a multitude of luxurious onboard amenities, and discover what each yacht rental has to offer prospective clients.
Over the years there have been many phenomenal yachts on display at the MYBA Charter Show, including the show debut of 247.8ft (75.5m) superyacht charter WHEELS in 2019, the returning favorite 296ft (90.1m) luxury yacht charter NERO over multiple editions, and 319ft (97m) yacht rental CARINTHIA VII who made her show debut in 2024.
An exciting and pivotal attraction during the show's festivities, the Superyacht Chefs' Competition witnesses the best in yachting cuisine go head to head against other crews to obtain accolades and bragging rights for being the best at what they do.
Set a different theme each year, chefs and their teams from attending motor yacht charters can create a three-course menu using the preset theme, while chief hosts and hostesses have to create a dining environment to match. Hosted onboard each of the participating yachts, this annual attraction has become one of the most important yachting culinary events of the year.
The All Hands On Deck (AHOD) competition is also a notable event at the MYBA Charter Show, designed to highlight the versatility and creativity of yacht crews. Participants are challenged to devise engaging activities suitable for charter guests in various weather conditions, showcasing their ability to enhance the overall charter experience regardless of environmental factors.
A captivating yacht charter destination teeming with beautiful landscapes, stunning cobbled streets, and a never-ending supply of breathtaking coastlines, the Med knows exactly how to cater to the desires of every charter guest.
