As this year's Cannes Film Festival draws to a close, a raft of high-profile superyachts have made their way along the coast to the glamorous hub of Port Hercules, which hosts the adrenaline-packed Monaco Grand Prix each year – one of the major highlights on the South of France yachting event calendar.
The team at YachtCharterFleet are in the Monegasque principality to bring you all the latest from the 79th Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix as it happens.
With practice sessions getting underway today, Monaco will be a hive of activity as countless crew members get ready to greet lucky guests staying on board for the big race, with last minute provisioning being done to ensure the yachts are fully stocked, ready to host an endless stream of glittering parties on board.
After qualifying sessions on Friday and Saturday, the main event will begin at 2pm local time on Sunday 29 May. The race follows a roaring performance from Max Verstappen in Barcelona, who retains the lead at the top of Driver’s Standings, with Sergio Perez and George Russell finishing the race in 2nd and 3rd place respectively.
Without question, the best seats in the house are definitely aboard the luxury yachts berthed trackside along Port Hercules’ T Dock. Of course, it’s also possible for superyachts to sit at-anchor a short distance away from the port and tender guests ashore to enjoy one of the exclusive balconies with a great view of the circuit.
There are a number of luxury charter yachts currently enjoying pole position at this year’s race, on hand to provide on-board guests with an unforgettable experience.
Some of our top picks include new charter entrant 43m (141ft) yacht BEHIKE and the elegant 48m (158ft) Rossinavi yacht Parillion who is tailor-made for corporate event charters with an outstanding selection of luxury amenities.

The largest charter yacht currently in Port Hercules for this year's Formula One in Monaco is the indomitable 92m (300ft) motor yacht QUEEN MIRI, who has the ability to entertain on a grand scale thanks to a plethora of spaces for lounging, dining and socializing, which guests can enjoy whilst taking in all the activity going on trackside.
She also offers a dedicated lower deck wellness center allowing those on board to unwind in style after the excitement of the race, as well as convenient business facilities for those needing to put in a few hours in between all the action.
