Classic Yacht MENORCA Opens for Charter at Les Voiles de St Tropez 2017

By Rebecca Bradbury   25 September 2017

The recently refitted 49m/159ft superyacht MENORCA from Botje Ensing & Co is available for a spectator charter at Les Voiles de St Tropez 2017, an end-of-season regatta taking place in St Tropez from 30th September to 8th October.

Les Voiles de St Tropez brings together a unique blend of classic and modern yachts for a week-long programme of competitive racing and lively social events. With a combination of timeless looks and the latest technology, MENORCA will fit in perfectly at this fast-approaching French Riviera event.

Originally built in 1961, the classic yacht underwent a complete rebuild in 2004. Following her latest refit, which was completed just last month, she now boasts a new Hamptons Beach House-style interior as well as the latest yachting innovations and updates.

Her elegant good looks match her glamorous history, as she has welcomed aboard a roll call of celebrities and royals throughout her 56 years. Now, charterers can experience her timeless luxury for themselves as part of a private yacht charter at the upcoming sailing meet.

Superyacht MENORCA features a range of expansive deck spaces, suitable for both relaxation and entertainment. Indeed, there is plenty of space to host your family and friends in the utmost style during the regatta, and ensure all on board catch the thrilling racing action.

Her most notable outdoor area is the long stretch of sundeck where, by day, guests can unwind in the Jacuzzi and lie back on loungers before it transforms into an open-air cinema or party hub once the sun has set. Alfresco dining for 14, meanwhile, is possible on the large upper deck aft.

Throughout the interior, bright, crisp and modern furnishings offer a tranquil environment in which the options for winding down and socialising continue. The main salon is flanked by glass, while a skylight bathes the central feature staircase in gorgeous natural light.

After a day of catching the regatta racing, guests can retreat into one of seven staterooms, including two double cabins and five convertible cabins. Fourteen guests can sleep on board in total.

With a combination of classic looks and the latest technology, MENORCA will fit in perfectly as a spectator at Les Voiles de St Tropez
