Characterised by its brilliant blend of classic and ultra-modern yachts, Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez will return for its 19th edition on 30th September 2017.
More than 300 yachts and nearly 4,000 sailors will descend on the Bay of Saint Tropez in the French Riviera for Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez: a week-long programme of competitive racing and lively social events.
Modern, traditional and Wally yachts all compete in their respective classes, fighting it out to be crowned champion in a series of sailing courses around the bay, while spectators will be thrilled with the visual spectacle of so many different sailing yachts in action, as well as the infectious camaraderie.
The most prestigious accolade available at the regatta is the Rolex Trophy, awarded to the winner of the classic dvision over 16 metres. While, the BMW Trophy goes to the winner of the Wally class and the Edmond de Rothschild Group Trophy goes to the winner of the IRC C class.
There will be a prize-giving ceremony on the final day of the regatta, and other on-land events include the blessing of the boats and musical entertainment on the harbour and throughout the town.
