Welcoming the return of the MYBA Charter Show, Portosole Marina hosts the esteemed trade-only event for the second year running as some of the industry's most coveted Mediterranean yacht charters showcase their premium amenities and bountiful glamor.
Running for more than 30 years, the MYBA Charter Show is among the most highly anticipated trade events in the charter industry, allowing brokers and industry professionals the opportunity to explore the latest fleet ahead of the peak summer season.
From brand new launches to refits and seasoned Italy yacht charters, the broad range of yachts on display provides plenty of inspiration for brokers to pass on to prospective clients.
Looking at the 2026 MYBA Charter Show in numbers, this year's event presents 80 sailing and motor yacht charters, with 63 of them making their debuts. Even though the attending fleet is smaller than last year's record-breaking edition, the superyacht charters displayed in Portosole Marina are younger than in 2025, with the average age of 11.16 years compared to 12.95 years.
Originally expecting a showcase that would have smashed last year's largest-ever attending fleet, several yachts have pulled out of the 2026 edition for various reasons; however, there are still a good number of must-see yachts around the pontoons.
Wearing the crown as the largest attending yacht, 279ft (85m) luxury yacht charter GIGIA makes a statement in San Remo, offering many brokers the first opportunity to see her completed 2024 refit.
Launched in 2017, GIGIA has a lot to offer prospective charter guests from her more than generous beach club complete with spa facilities, to her incredible master cabin with private terrace and impressive range of watersports equipment.
Also marking her show debut, this year's edition of the MYBA Charter Show is her first boat show appearance since the 2018 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
Also making their show debut this year, industry professionals have the chance to explore 197ft (60m) superyacht charter ALVA as she makes her global premiere.
The latest yacht to join the fleet of Amels yacht charters, she is one of the newest Amels 60 yachts to hit the water ( soon to be followed by 196.1ft (60m) yacht rental QU2 ) featuring a premium range of onboard amenities, sophisticated interiors by Harrison Eidsgaard, and certification as an RYA water sports center, making her the perfect choice for fast-paced adventures on West Mediterranean yacht charters this summer.
Other show debuts for the 2026 MYBA Charter Show include:
- 239.9ft (73.07m) charter yacht PLAN B
- 238ft (72.45m) superyacht charter CORAL OCEAN
- 183.8ft (55.99m), charter yacht BLUE II
- 183.9ft (56m) charter yacht GALAXY
Elsewhere around the pontoons of Portosole, industry favorites like 179ft (54.52m) charter yacht QUINTA ESSENTIA returns for the second year in a row, the sleek and sporty 172ft (52.36m) yacht rental DB9 displays her latest refit, and the highly distinctive 143ft (43.5m) luxury yacht charter THIS IS IT makes her second return to the show.
Combined with returning show exclusives such as the popular Chef's Competition, with this year's theme navigating 'A Flower Feast For Breakfast', and a host of talks looking at the future of sustainable yachting and the benefits of charter routes in the Med, the latest edition of the MYBA Charter Show is certain to be one for the books.
As a trade-only event, there is no available access to the general public; however, if you are interested in any of the yachts on display at the current MYBA Charter Show, an industry professional can attend the event on your behalf and report back to you.
