Top charter yachts at the Mediterranean Yacht Show 2023

By Nina Done & Steph Loseby   3 May 2023

Among the gleaming superyachts lined up in the beautiful port of Napflion, Greece are a selection of charter yachts that have been causing a buzz. We take a look at some of the shining stars at this year’s Mediterranean Yacht Show

O'PTASIA

Located at the end of the dock, the award-winning 85m (278ft) superyacht O’PTASIA is the undisputed star of the show.

Her vast beach club and swim platform is the first thing you notice as you step on board, featuring a slew of amenities, including a Turkish Hammam, large central bar and raft of toys and accessories. There is even a beauty treatment room with, not one but, two dedicated on board masseuses tending to the needs of her lucky guests.

Other highlights include a Pink Floyd-inspired elevator serving all five decks, stunning interiors with an array of artwork and sculptures adding a playful touch to her neutral scheme and a multi-purpose upper saloon replete with numerous games and gadgets, as well as a bar for happy hour every night between 8-9pm.

Outside, guests are well catered for too. From her bridge deck where you’ll find a 6-meter glass-sided swimming pool surrounded by sunpads and air conditioned gymnasium, to her sprawling sun-kissed top deck that includes a cinema set-up for movie nights under the stars.

LADY VERA

Fresh from an extensive refit, the 74m (241ft) superyacht LADY VERA features a compelling line up of spacious living areas and an abundance of standout amenities that come together to create a luxurious and comfortable yacht charter platform.

Once onboard, you’re immediately introduced to a spacious aft deck area which is complimented by a relaxed seating arrangement and further aft, a fold down touch and go helipad which supplies shade to the swim platform below.

Boasting a beautifully appointed beach club equipped with a cabana bar and dedicated massage area, as well as a generous swim platform that can be furnished with loungers shaded by the fold-down helipad above, guests will find they have the perfect setup for relaxing, socializing and entertaining during their vacation.

Additional highlights include her spacious and private master cabin as well as her partitioned sundeck which is home to an incredible 10-person spa pool, surrounded by plush sunpads and 360-degree views. Not only this, but the space also holds an elevated tiered seating arrangement with a removal cushion that reveals a projector, perfect for cozy movie nights onboard.

O’EVA

Sporting a brand new Whisper Grey hull and shiny new refit, the 60m (196ft) luxury yacht O’EVA is looking in mint condition as she welcomes brokers and other industry professionals on board at the show.

Originally delivered in 2009, the CMN superyacht now boasts a brand new color scheme and a newly designed main saloon and upper deck lounge which was revamped by Massari Design, who also worked on the 88m superyacht PROJECT X.

The sundeck is the motor yacht’s crowning glory, featuring a large sheltered area amidships with enclosed glass panels where you’ll find a bar and dining area. This leads to a large Jacuzzi surrounded by sunpads. There is a further spread of sunpads up forward, angled to take advantage of the glorious views across the bow.

Other standout features include sumptuous carpets that feel like heaven underfoot, two large principle cabins, one on her main deck and one on her upper deck, and array of dining options across her deck spaces.

OURANOS

Located right at the end of the harbor, show-goers had a bit more of a trek to visit the 50m (163ft) Admiral yacht OURANOS, however she has proved well-worth the effort. Looking formidable with her prowling bow and sporty good looks, the motor yacht definitely has the wow factor.

Stepping on board, her interiors are elegant and understated, where rich leathers, exquisite marble and beautiful marquetry add a touch of luxury to her interior scheme. Full-length windows add plenty of natural light, while sumptuous furniture and the latest tech gadgets add to her charter allure.

Like O’EVA, her sundeck is her standout feature, replete with a long dining table for 12 and stunning marble-clad sit up bar. This area can be closed off to the elements or opened up to enjoy the warm summer breezes. The real draw here is her huge elevated Jacuzzi and circular spread of sun loungers located at the aft end of the deck.

Another highlight is her beach club. Accessible via the main deck, you’ll find a well-equipped gymnasium and fold-down swim platform, as well as side terraces for convenient boarding onto her tenders. In terms of water toys, this yacht offers the whole spectrum, from sea bobs, electric foiling boards and brand new jet skis to electric mountain bikes for effortless excursions ashore.
