2024 Mediterranean Yacht Show (MEDYS) closes the doors on a successful 9th edition

Closing down after an immersive five-day run, the Mediterranean Yacht Show (MEDYS) bids farewell to a show that introduced industry professionals to a staggering fleet of Greece yacht charters in the captivating setting of Nafplion.

Embracing the glorious weather synonymous with East Mediterranean yacht charters, 77 gleaming charter yachts lined the docks with a combined length of 3.08km from 45 exhibitors. Over 440 brokers and industry professionals attended the trade-only event from 27 countries, once again proving how popular the staple event is in the mesmerizing yacht charter destination

Hosted by the Greek Yachting Association (GYA), MEDYS stands as a key event for showcasing crewed charter yachts, offering unparalleled insight into the latest superyacht charters on the market. Visitors can explore a vast array of Mediterranean yacht charters, from catamarans and elegant sailing yachts to the epitome of luxury in motor yacht charters.

On the ground at the Mediterranean Yacht Show

Decorated with a red carpet and an esteemed collection of exhibitors along the dockside, the 2024 Mediterranean Yacht Show certainly kept the crowds of brokers and industry professionals busy with ongoing talks, demonstrations, and, of course, an abundance of tours and entertainment of the showcasing yacht charters.

Followed on with a lively collection of soirees, dance acts, and live music throughout the evenings, the attending crewed yacht charters certainly a made a great impression on what they can offer future charter guests on Greece and Mykonos yacht charters.

Superyacht charters of MEDYS

Hosting a glistening array of superyacht charters, there were many MEDYS 2024 show debuts including Golden Yachts charter O'MATHILDE and the eye-catching 164.1ft (50.01m) yacht charter ZIA, who is perfectly suited for sunkissed family yacht charters.

Other debuts that left a lasting impression at the show included 164.1ft (50m) yacht charter LA PELLEGRINA from the fleet of Couach yacht charters, and the streamlined Codecasa yacht charter BOJI.

Standing out as the biggest luxury yacht charter in attendance, the crown goes to the striking 311.8ft (95m) motor yacht O'PARI from the Golden Yachts fleet. Boasting a large aft deck pool, helipad, a deck Jacuzzi, and well-appointed interiors, she demonstrated her ability to continually entertain her charter guests with relative ease.

Other showstoppers at the recent edition of the Mediterranean Yacht Show included 241.2ft (73.51m) charter yacht LADY VERA, a confident Nobiskrug yacht charter with indulgent facilities including a cinema, a spacious beach club, Wi-Fi connectivity, and a plethora of water toys for thrilling watersports yacht charters.

Making a good impression for Benetti yacht charters, luxury yacht rental IDYLLIC showed off her spacious decks, impressive toy garage, and beach club, while charter yacht RARE FIND from Turquoise Yachts delivered a great opportunity to explore a newly refurbished yacht rental complete with an indulgent social hub on the sun deck with a deck Jacuzzi, wet bar and ample seating to enjoy sweeping vistas on Santorini yacht charters.

Looking to MEDYS 2025

Following on from another successful edition of the Mediterranean Yacht Show, the next edition looks to return in 2025 to the beautiful area of Nafplion.
