By Katia Damborsky   5 September 2019

Running between 25 - 28 September, the 2019 Monaco Yacht Show (MYS 2019) will be displaying an impressive showcase of new superyachts in Port Hercules. As this year's edition draws closer, YachtCharterFleet shines the spotlight on the newest yachts you shouldn't miss at the show.

Internationally regarded as one of the most important events in the yachting calendar, the Monaco Yacht Show is where the finest luxury yachts are shown off to the world.

This year will be no different, with close to 110 superyachts set to attend the event in Port Hercules. Of those, over 80 yachts are expected to make their worldwide debuts.

Below, we've rounded up an 'Essential Viewing' hot list for new yachts at the 2019 Monaco Yacht Show:

111m (366ft) superyacht TIS

Builder: Lurssen

As the largest yacht ever to attend the Monaco Yacht Show 2019, superyacht TIS will be making plenty of waves in Port Hercules.

The motor yacht’s head-turning exteriors and palatial interiors are both the work of Winch Design. The British studio has worked to create a timeless profile finished in navy blue, complemented by lavish interior styling with plenty of gold gilding and plush fabrics.

She was delivered earlier this year, and recently became one of the largest yachts available for superyacht charters.

90m (295ft) superyacht DreAMBoat

Builder: Oceanco

The most recent delivery from Oceanco, luxury yacht DreAMBoat will also be making her inaugural appearance in Monaco.

Her elegant exteriors have been penned by Espen Oeino, while her interiors have been headed up Terence Disdale. MYS attendees who are lucky enough to step on board will have the chance to admire her laid-back beach-club styling for themselves.

On-board highlights include a helipad and a generous aft deck pool, as well as numerous areas to relax and entertain across five spacious decks.

85m/279ft expedition yacht BOLD

Builder: SilverYachts

Currently undertaking her maiden voyage to the Mediterranean from SilverYachts' facilities in Perth, Australia, motor yacht BOLD has confirmed her attendance at the Monaco Yacht Show 2019.

She has been described by the yard as “a fast world explorer vessel with a genuine, fully-fledged superyacht finish.” She has been developed in collaboration with Espen Oeino, and has an all-aluminium finish that will allow her to reach speeds of 24 knots.

The yacht's interiors have been headed up by Andreas Holnburger of Vain Interiors. The layout centres around an impressive 300sqm skylounge with full-length windows to allow in plenty of light.

80m/262ft motor yacht DRAGON

Builder: Columbus Yachts

Columbus Yachts’ new flagship, the 80m/262ft luxury yacht DRAGON will also be attending the show. The motor yacht first hit the water earlier this year in March.

She has numerous facilities at her guests’ disposal, including a light-drenched beach club with a pair of side-opening balconies and extending swim platform. She also plays host to a generous pool on the sundeck.

Her interiors are the work of the esteemed Francesco Guida, who have opted for a refined and understated theme, with plenty of light colours and soft textures.

80m (262ft) superyacht EXCELLENCE

With futuristic exteriors that demand attention, superyacht EXCELLENCE was delivered by Abeking & Rasmussen earlier this year.

Her Winch-Design exteriors, which are characterised by a plumb bow and curving lines, create an eye-catching profile which has been compared to a spaceship.

Details about the yacht’s interiors have been kept completely under wraps; those who have the opportunity to step on board in Monaco will be able to explore her interior design for themselves.

79m (259ft) motor yacht MIMTEE

Builder: CRN

Luxury yacht MIMTEE will also be attending the show. She is CRN's second-largest yacht to date, coming in second after 80m Chopi Chopi.

Pictures of the yacht's interiors are yet to be released, but it is known they come from Laura Sessa Romboli.

Her exteriors, meanwhile, are the work of Zuccon.

77m (253ft) motor yacht SYZYGY 818

Builder: Feadship

Another tightly guarded secret, motor yacht SYZYGY 818 was launched by Feadship in June.

Her name is an astronomic term meaning the alignment of the stars, sun or moons in a straight line configuration. Her interiors are expected to nod to this celestial theme.

Naval architecture comes from De Voogt, while Avian is responsible for the exteriors and interiors come from Sinot Yacht Design.

63m/207ft motor yacht METIS

Builder: Benetti

Shrouded in mystery, megayacht METIS is one of the most recent yachts to confirm her attendance in Monaco.

This will be a worldwide debut for the 2019 build, giving show-goers the chance to finally see her Bannenberg & Rowell-designed interiors. Among her on-board highlights, she boasts a large sundeck with an oversized dip pool and guest accommodation for 13.

She is sure to attract plenty of attention with her exterior styling, which comes courtesy of Giorgio M. Cassetta of Benetti's in-house design team.

50m (164ft) luxury yacht ‘Binta d’Or’

Builder: Tankoa

Based on the same platform as successful former flagship VERTIGE, hybrid motor yacht ‘Binta d’Or’ is an environmentally-friendly masterpiece built in entirely aluminium.

Launched in May, the yacht will see her worldwide debut in Monaco. Her angular profile is the work of long-time Tankoa collaborator Francesco Paszkowski, and the Italian studio is also responsible for her interiors, for which they teamed up with Margherita Casprini.

The yacht is equipped with a touch-n-go helipad and a hybrid propulsion system, as well as a beach club, gym and sundeck jacuzzi.

47.5m (156ft) motor yacht LILIUM

Builder: Bilgin Yachts

The second hull in the Bilgin 156 series, luxury yacht LILIUM is currently undertaking her maiden voyage from the shipyard in Istanbul to the French Riviera.

She will making her first stop at the Cannes Yachting Festival between September 10-15, and then heading onwards to Monaco.

The yacht’s interiors have been created in-house, while her exteriors come from Unique Yacht Design. She has a clean white colour palette offset by gold accents, alongside bright social areas with key materials including brass and marble.
