China Rendez-Vous Announce New SO! HAINAN Superyacht Event

The organisers of the inaugural 2014 SO! DALIAN event, China Rendez-Vous, have announced plans to host a new SO! HAINAN event in partnership with Sanya Yalong Bay Development Co., Ltd.

The first edition of SO! HAINAN will take place in December 2015 over four days in the world-class St. Regis Hotel superyacht marina. The show follows the success of SO! DALIAN and has been created in response to a growing China yachting market, providing a strong platform in which to present the industry and clients with a range of yachts alongside luxury lifestyle products and activities.

More than 80 superyachts are expected to be exhibited during the 2015 SO! HAINAN, which aims to welcome around 10,000 visitors. With SO! DALIAN taking place in North China, the organisers have decided to launch a similar concept in Hainan which is situated in the heart of China’s Riviera. Over recent years, Hainan has become the country’s most important superyacht hub, representing the development of world class-facilities in response to the growing yachting industry in the region.

More than 80 superyachts are expected to be exhibited during the 2015 SO! HAINAN, which aims to welcome around 10,000 visitors.

The Chinese yachting market has now entered a new phase and the ambitious approach from China Rendez-Vous to accommodate growing demand throughout Asia for yacht shows. The group have entered an agreement with Yalong Development Company, a subsidiary of one of China’s most reputable companies, the COFCO group. The cutting-edge St. Regis Resort marina is situated within the Sanya Yalong Bay Yacht Club and offers 130 berths of up to 100m with direct access to the Bay and China Sea.
