The 72.6m/238'2" motor yacht 'Altair' (ex. Queen M) was built by Lurssen in Germany at their Bremen shipyard. Her interior is styled by design house Donald Starkey and she was completed in 2004. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Espen Oeino and she was last refitted in 2006.
Altair has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 18 guests in 10 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 22 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Altair is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel MTU (16 V 4000 M 70) 3,152hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 16 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 18 knots with a range of up to 5,000 nautical miles from her 250,000 litre fuel tanks at 12 knots. Altair features at-anchor stabilizers providing exceptional comfort levels. Her water tanks store around 30,000 Litres of fresh water. She was built to Other classification society rules, and is MCA Compliant.
