The 56m/183'9" sail yacht 'Piropo' (ex. Silvana) was built by Perini Navi in Italy at their Viareggio shipyard. Her interior is styled by Italian designer design house Perini Navi and she was delivered to her owner in November 2008. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Perini Navi.
Piropo has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests in 5 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 12 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Piropo is built with a aluminium hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C-32) 12-cylinder 1,257hp engines running at 2200rpm, she comfortably cruises at 13 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 15 knots with a range of up to 4,146 nautical miles from her 59,000 litre fuel tanks at 13 knots. Her water tanks store around 17,000 Litres of fresh water. She was built to ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) ✠A1, Yachting Service, AMS classification society rules, and is MCA Compliant.
