The 2014 Taiwan International Boat Show will be the first of it's kind in Taiwan.
Integrating traditional manufacturing, high technology and exquisite craftsmanship, Taiwan’s complete yacht industry will be exhibited at the 2014 Taiwan International Boat Show. Held between Thursday 8th and Sunday 11th May 2014, it will take place at the newly inaugurated Kaohsiung Exhibition Center and is expected to become the most anticipated event in Taiwan.
The most spectacular yachts at the show will be showcased in the columnless 27m lofted south hall of the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center. A plethora of brands have already confirmed their attendance, including President Yachts, Johnson Yachts, Delta and the world’s 11th largest yacht manufacturer, Horizon Yachts.
Besides the yachts on display, another popular exhibition area is expected to be the equipment and components area. Supporting the development of Taiwan’s yacht industry, yacht peripheral industries and supply chains including raw materials, marine hardware and accessories, wood processing and furniture manufacturing have established themselves over the past decade. At this first Taiwan International Boat Show, Arite - the biggest yacht hardware accessory manufacturer in Asia, will have a large booth to exhibit its marine hardware. Other manufacturers that have also signed up include Caterpillar’s only dealer in Taiwan, Capital Machinery, Man Ship Machinery and Hardware, UMC-United Metals and God Power, among others.
The superior range of exhibitors along with the variety of events being held during the show will attract a myriad of visitors and provide lots of fun. Acquisition meetings will be held to increase the effectiveness of the show, while industrial forums and seminars will take place as a platform for further cooperation and mingling. There will also be regattas, yacht design workshops and yacht design competitions.
