Hosted by the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia, the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race set a whole new standard for regattas when it launched over seventy years ago.
After over 74 years, the regatta has grown in popularity and has become an iconic national event in Australia, ranking highly alongside the Melbourne Cup, the Australian Open Tennis, and the Boxing Day Cricket Test.
Based at the Hobart Race Village, competitors and visitors are welcome to take a look at all of the vessels before they hit the water, generating plenty of intrigue ahead of the big races.
