A fleet of superyachts will be on display at Newport Shipyard, Rhode Island for the 2020 Newport Charter Yacht Show this June.
Now nearing its fourth decade, the Newport Charter Yacht Show is one of New England's largest in-water boat shows centred around private charter.
The industry-only event marks a great opportunity for brokers to tour the luxury yachts on display and get better acquainted with the charter fleet of this idyllic region.
Attendees will also have the chance to network with the owners, captains and crews of the yachts lined up at the show.
The 2020 fleet will be dominated by motor yachts, but there will be a stellar range of prestige sailing vessels in attendance as well. This variety will ensure show-goers have plenty to peruse.
The show will also place heavy focus on exhibitors, and there will be a variety of stands dedicated to products and services related to the superyacht sector; from interior design firms to luxury marine suppliers.
Complementing the on-the-water action, there is expected to be a lively social programme to ensure attendees are met with ample opportunities to make connections and enjoy their time at the show.
As well as cocktail evenings and seminars, show-goers can enjoy some friendly competition from a tabletop competition and chef's cook-off.
Invariably, the setting of the show is one that's hard to beat in Northern America. Newport is ideally located in close proximity to the yachting hotspots of Nantucket, Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard, and the town itself enjoys a vibrant regatta circuit, friendly sailing community and plenty of history of culture.
Now in its 36th year, the show aims to highlight Newport's potential as a superyacht destination, as well as presenting a chance for the industry to get to grips with charter yachts in this area.
