Held annually across Nassau and Paradise Island, the Bahamas Charter Yacht Show brings together a curated fleet of Bahamas yacht charters that are available for the winter and spring Caribbean charter season.

Rather than being a public exhibition, it is an event designed to help brokers experience each yacht firsthand, so they can confidently match clients with the perfect yacht rental, cabin layout, and onboard service style for a Bahamian getaway.

Spanning multiple marinas across Nassau and Paradise Island, the Bahamas Charter Yacht Show offers visiting brokers seamless access to explore each yacht at berth. Complimentary ground and water transfers link the marinas throughout the event, making it easy to move between displays and scheduled tours.

While the Bahamas Charter Yacht Show is reserved exclusively for brokers, Captains, and crew, its influence is felt far beyond the marina. The purpose of the show is to refine, elevate, and personalise the charter experience for guests planning to explore the Bahamas in the months that follow.

The main highlight of the Bahamas Charter Yacht Show is the opportunity to step aboard some of the most notable charter yachts in the Caribbean. Each edition presents a diverse collection of motor yachts and catamaran yacht charters, ranging from sleek contemporary designs to larger superyachts equipped for extended cruising across the Bahamian islands.

Starting with 56 yacht rentals in the first edition, the trade event has rapidly grown traction as a staple yachting event within the Caribbean, welcoming superyachts from some of the biggest shipyards in the industry. 

Reflecting the importance of service, atmosphere, and presentation in shaping the guest experience on a motor or sailing yacht charter, the show places equal emphasis on the crews themselves. Over the course of the event, crew members are invited to participate in a series of friendly competitions designed to highlight their creativity, hospitality style, and onboard service approach.

Three recurring showcases are central to the show’s identity:

• Tablescaping Competition - Crews transform their dining settings using only décor elements already carried onboard, creating themed tables that reflect coastal living, Bahamian culture, or the yacht’s individual personality. Previous themes have ranged from tropical garden palettes and shell-inspired ocean textures to refined “barefoot luxury” island elegance.
• Signature Cocktail Competition - Using a defined set of ingredients, crew design and present a cocktail that captures the spirit of the island chain. Presentations are judged on flavour, creativity, and storytelling, with previous interpretations featuring citrus-forward beach refreshments, infused rum recipes, and ocean-inspired garnishes.
• Hospitality Showcase (Social Service & Guest Flow) - A more informal but equally influential aspect, where crew demonstrate how they create welcoming, relaxed, and intuitive environments onboard. This provides brokers with a real sense of the service style that shapes a Bahamas or Exumas yacht charter.
