Ideal for Winter Season
Although split up into little groups, the Virgin Islands are all spectacular in their own way. On this week-long tour, your luxury charter yacht will escort you to some of the most celebrated US and British Virgin Islands. The combination of Caribbean charm, idyllic settings and cultural personality you'll encounter on this island tour will give you plenty to talk about when you return home. The adventure begins when you meet up with your chosen vessel in the capital Charlotte Amalie on the island of St Thomas. The Crown Bay marina here has everything you could possibly want on a luxury holiday, so on your evening before raising anchor enjoy the festivities and toast your first glass of Caribbean rum.
- Day 1
St Thomas
Indulge yourself in boutique shops and heavenly eateries
Before you depart St Thomas, allow some time for you and your guests to wander the cosmopolitan capital, home to a variety of high-end designer brands and exquisite artwork. Enjoy a break at one of the myriad cafes and bars that line the colorful port and soak up the vibrant atmosphere with a local seafood dish or cocktail of choice.
Charlotte Amalie is a renowned duty-free shopping destination, offering a range of high-end boutiques and luxury jewelry shops. Tax-free bargains can also be found in watches, leather goods, alcohol, designer clothes and artworks, with further outlets located at the Yacht Haven Grande marina complex. In terms of eateries, there are plentiful options; from Caribbean and American cuisine to Mediterranean fine dining in Frenchtown, just west of the capital.
For beach lovers, St Thomas plays host to a wealth of palm-fringed sands with clear blue waters and a relaxed vibe. Magens Bay Beach, a picturesque stretch of white sand on the north coast, is among the most celebrated in the whole Virgin Island archipelago, while for a quieter, more secluded spot, try Brewers Bay Beach, on the south coast.

St John

Your to-do list today consists mainly of investigating the world below the water’s surface. Introduce yourself to the Virgin Island marine life by snorkeling or diving around the exquisite coastline. There are also some beautiful secluded coves to explore, including Hurricane Cove which is a natural three-sided shelter – big enough to protect your vessel should a hurricane hit, hence the name.

Tortola
Celebrated playground of the SuperyachtSet
Before heading across to the British Virgin island of Tortola, spend the morning soaking up the rays on the instagram-worthy beach at Trunk Bay.
Nestled on the north coast of St John, Trunk Bay is a picturesque curve of platinum sands with intense turquoise waters that epitomizes the Caribbean. For active souls, head further inland to visit the Trunk Bay Plantation ruins. These historical sugar plantation ruins are an essential part of the island’s history and make for an interesting morning.
After a delicious lunch on board, the Captain will up-anchor to leave the US Virgin Islands territory and make a beeline for the largest of the British Virgin Islands, Tortola. On arrival, your luxury charter yacht will drop the pick at Cane Garden Bay. This quiet area of the Virgin Islands is in close proximity to a local village which offers a great insight into Caribbean life. Try local delicacies and listen to some interesting stories before indulging in a banquet for supper as the sunset casts a tangerine glow over your rum punch.
- Day 4
Norman Island
Tropical paradise that inspired the novel Treasure island
After enjoying a freshly prepared lunch at Soper’s Hole on Tortola, your crew will charter across to Norman Island.
Locally known for being the island which inspired the classic novel of Treasure Island, Norman Island is one of the more popular locations in the Virgin Islands. Anchoring down in The Bight, you have the opportunity to spend some time on the beach or you can explore some of the caves around the coastline.
Water sports are in order for the afternoon to burn some built up energy. Give the jet skis a spin or take your time with a leisurely glide on a paddleboat. Why not take your toys for a stroll as you visit the famous floating bar, Willy T's. Converted from a Baltic ship, the floating bar attracts many luxury charter yacht enthusiasts and is perhaps the most iconic bar for miles around.
- Day 5
Peter's Island
Private island luxury
Known for it’s heavenly beaches, Peter’s Island is certainly going to bring a smile to your face.
Start off the day by anchoring down at Great Harbor to enjoy a leisurely stroll across the white sands before heading to the idyllic Peter Island Resort for a star quality brunch and some water sports activities. Grab your own gear from your yacht or join the other holidaymakers at the resort with windsurfing and water skiing.
After indulging in some adrenaline-fuelled on-water fun, continue round the coast of Peter’s Island to meet up with Dead Man’s Bay. Named after the discovery of drowned pirates on the sands, this beach is particularly popular with visitors, and even comes with an eponymous bar and restaurant. Before enjoying a generous helping of supper from the resident restaurant, explore the world beneath the waves for a special treat.
Try some snorkeling or take a dive around your luxury rental yacht to see some impressive collections of corals and seagrass. While in the depths, keep your eyes peeled as you may be very lucky to see some sea turtles. Naturally shy creatures, you will need to keep a good look out as you drift among the kaleidoscopic underwater world.
- Day 6
Virgin Gorda
Home to otherworldly seascapes and stunning beaches
If you thought Peter’s Island was something of natural beauty, wait until you arrive at Virgin Gorda.
A big contender for one of the most visually appealing islands in the British Virgin archipelago, Virgin Gorda sports stunning stretches of beaches, fringed with palms and other indigenous flora and fauna, as well as impeccable turquoise waters and a great selection of marine life.
Heralding the sixth day of your luxury charter yacht tour of the Virgin Islands, this is your day to spend as you wish. Despite the incredible beauty of Virgin Gorda it is remarkably quiet so you have the chance to enjoy a day of pure tranquility and solitude. Take some time to top up your tan on beautiful swathes of powder-fine sands and cool off by venturing into the calm blue waters for some snorkeling action.
A must-see when visiting Virgin Gorda is the natural sea pools and grottos, known as The Baths. Large, towering granite boulders form natural whirlpools where you can sink into the sea water for spa-like indulgence and sip on a glass of champagne to complete the picture.
Top off the day with upscale dining aboard your luxury yacht rental.

North Sound and The Bitter End Yacht Club
An underwater paradise awaits
A day of adrenaline pumping excitement awaits you on day 7 as you cruise round to North Sound.
Still on the island of Virgin Gorda, North Sound provides an exciting diving opportunity. There’s plenty of marine creatures to see in the depths, in addition to the ever-beautiful collection of corals, but the excitement of these waters are the man-made items. The underwater scene around North Sound features various artifacts which are leftover from different shipwrecks that occurred throughout history in the British Virgin Islands. Take a good look round and return to the surface for a short break before moving on to more exciting activities.
While you enjoy a seafood lunch aboard your luxury yacht your crew will navigate the short distance to Bitter End yacht Club. Newly restored from the after-effects of a hurricane, the resort here is a popular hangout for luxury charter yachts, and the ultimate playground for water sports fans. Just some examples of the activities you can undertake here include kiteboarding, kayaking, windsurfing and on site scuba diving.
After all your energy has been depleted, retire to the exclusive restaurant at the Bitter End Resort for fine dining and an impeccable view of the sunset.
