On a pure white sandy arc, surrounded by swaying palms and soaring cliffs on the southwestern side of Tonsai Bay lies the home of some rather majestic monkeys.
It's not to be confused with Monkey Bay — which is a separate location that just so happens to be situated on the other side of the island by the entrance of Loh Dalum.
This delightful colony of primates certainly aren't shy, and you'll have boundless photo opportunities whilst visiting.
Whilst these furry inhabitants are without a doubt the main attraction of this cove, admiring the creatures isn't the only thing you can do here. The crystal clear, emerald waters are wonderful for snorkelling, and their mellow nature makes them also ideal for kayaking. It's truly a magnificent experiencing gliding through the lush vegetation and towering escarpments.
