Introducing LEONA, the second hull from the 80m 263 series, built by the renowned Turkish shipyard Bilgin Yachts, LEONA sets itself apart from her sister ship TATIANA with a number of remarkable features and designs.
Scheduled to appear at the forthcoming Monaco Yacht Show, the general arrangement in comparison to TATIANA remains largely unchanged. Superyacht LEONA focuses on providing larger accommodations and emphasizes spacious room sizes. Her lower deck showcases this concept with an additional storage space in the form of a large owner's dressing room, replacing one of the cabins.
On the main deck, LEONA offers two generous VIP cabins with his and her bathrooms and dressing rooms, replacing the four guest cabins. The owner's deck experiences the most significant change, with the superstructure extended aft to create a palatial owner's suite. A private lounge with access to an exterior pool completes this lavish space.
LEONA's interior exudes opulence and sophistication, incorporating a bold and rich palette. Intricate detailing, decorative finishes, and a variety of textures are seamlessly integrated throughout the yacht. Gloss lacquers, backlit onyx, figurative timbers, gold inlays, and luxurious textiles create a visually stunning ambiance. The interior design was heavily influenced by the owner's love for travel, rich materials, and desire for exciting features, resulting in unique and captivating spaces that enhance the onboard experience.
The main stair lobby, spanning over three decks, features a striking bubble tank with RGB lighting and pulsing water jets, set against a backdrop of black marble with gold detailing. The main salon captivates with an imposing tiger onyx fireplace that divides the space between the formal dining area and spacious lounge. Inspired by African animal prints, textures, and patterns, the mirrors, mullions, and textiles create a harmonious and luxurious atmosphere, complemented by Roberto Cavalli furniture.
LEONA's lower deck boasts an extraordinary beach club layout, reminiscent of motor yacht TATIANA. However, the design theme takes a different direction. Greek statues sit on the pool edge, spraying colored water into the blue-patterned tile pool. Above, a fiber optic ceiling creates a mesmerizing 'night sky' star pattern. Composite marble reliefs capturing enchanting forest scenes adorn the sides of the pool, while amethyst stones and agates embellish the bar on the starboard side. A Moroccan-inspired hookah room, with sliding glass doors and a fold-down sea terrace door, offers a connection to the sea. The furniture in this area is richly decorated with timber carvings, gold upholstered trims, and sumptuous cushions.
The lounge features a glass cube-textured ceiling pierced by a skylight, surrounded by a mother of pearl cornice. Rich purple tones dominate the room, with gold trims adorning the furniture and sumptuous cushions.
The private top deck of LEONA is a haven of extravagance, blending contemporary and traditional architectural detailing. The central bathroom showcases ornate gold and blue tiles, accentuating the lavish shower room and circular bathtub. Mother-of-pearl panels bordered by white marble and ornate leaf cornicing adorn the bulkheads.
The owner's bedroom combines black and gold finishes, featuring a platform bed with black agate bedside tables flanked by polished black sahara marble. A cubed glass-textured ceiling, punctuated by a large skylight, bathes the room in natural light, highlighting unique loose furniture pieces.
Scheduled to appear at the 2023 Monaco Yacht Show, M/Y LEONA is not available for charter, however, if you'd like to charter a yacht of a similar caliber, you can view and compare all Bilgin yachts for charter.
