Video: Charter Yachts Compete In The Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup 2016

Causing a sensation in the waters off Italy last week, a number of sailing yachts available for charter were seen competing in the highly anticipated Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup.

Unquestionably one of the most prized events taking place in Porto Cervo this year, the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup drew out scores of exceptional sailing yachts as well as a number of spectating motor yachts.

Interestingly, the largest entrant in the cup was the 49m/163ft sailing yacht OHANA, a sloop built by Fitzroy in 2012 and available for private charter.

Attracting a considerable amount of attention both when performing and berthed, the sailing yacht is capable of accommodating up to ten guests and is currently offering an outstanding late-summer deal.

Likewise, the 30m/98ft sailing yacht ‘Leopard 3’ generated plenty of enthusiasm as she operated at the peak of her capabilities. Believed to be available in the Caribbean this winter, the sailing yacht offers exceptional room for a total of eight guests.

Showcasing their outstanding abilities on the water, the competing yachts which are also available for charter all but invited onlookers to take a vacation on board.

The 23m//75ft wally ‘Tango G’, for example, was breaking waves whilst revealing more of her distinct black on red design, a style which includes comfortable accommodation for up to eight guests.

In a similar manner, the impressively voluminous 24m/79ft sailing yacht NIKATA attracted the attention of the cameras, and solidified the reputation of the award-winning Nautor’s Swan.

Ultimately, by chartering a high performing sailing yacht, either for a regatta, or a vacation, guests are able to enjoy a truly unique experience which remains one of unparalleled luxury.
