The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2015 Opens

The 56th edition of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show officially opened this morning in Florida, showcasing everything the yachting industry has to offer, including some of the finest superyachts available for charter.

Dubbed as the ‘Yachting Capital of the World’, each year Fort Lauderdale proves to be the perfect host for an array of yachts, ranging from sportfishers to the world's most sought-after megayachts.

At the event over 1,000 exhibitors, ranging from yacht builders and designers to exotic cars and brokerage yachts, are showcased across three million square feet of space and seven locations to unveil their new products and offers.

A spectacular range of nearly 1,500 yachts will be in attendance at ths show, with Lurssen’s 76m charter yacht 'Northern Star' – the biggest yacht at the event – taking pride of place.


The 63m superyacht 'Lady Lola' and the 66m motor yacht NATITA are also on display to showcase their charter potential to prospective clientele and brokers.

The show’s event and seminar programme got off to an impressive start, with tomorrow (6 November) night’s Blue Party expected to be one of the highlights of the event.

The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2015 is open from today until 9 November, from 10am to 7pm.
