Tankoa Yachts launches brand new 72m charter yacht SOLO

The 72m/236ft superyacht SOLO was officially launched this morning from the yard’s facilities in Genoa, Italy, and will soon begin her debut charter season.

Caught on camera after hitting the water, SOLO can now be fully appreciated following months of anticipation surrounding her launch. Bedecked in bunting, her sleek white superstructure and rose gold-tinted hull sparkled beautifully in the Italian sunshine.

Combining exterior and interior design from Francesco Paszkowski, the new build from Tankoa Yachts will make her worldwide debut at the 2018 Monaco Yacht Show in September.

Highlights of the motor yacht include a touch-and-go helipad on the upper deck, an inviting infinity pool on the aft deck and a cutting-edge beach club with its own bar and spa facilities.

The deck areas will also be fully primed for guests to unwind in sumptuous lounging areas, bask in the sunshine and enjoy delicious al fresco dinners on their private yacht charter.

Opportunities for relaxation and entertainment will continue into the interior, where a sophisticated and modern design prevails throughout with high-gloss woods and neutral coloured furnishings.

Other key features include an upper deck winter garden, a glass-enclosed gymnasium with a fold-down platform at the water’s edge for workouts with a view and a hair and massage salon.

The principal charterer will be treated to a sumptuous master suite with its own private terrace and hot tub, while the other accommodation is made up of a spacious VIP suite, two double cabins and two twin cabins. Twelve guests can sleep on board in total.

As only renderings of her interior have been released so far, visitors to the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show will be keen to step aboard and discover what awaits inside.
