Currently exploring the lesser-travelled cruising grounds of Panama, the 73m/240ft explorer yacht ‘Planet Nine’ is looking to fill the remaining gaps in her calendar in the Caribbean in the coming months.
A true expedition yacht, Planet Nine has recently been traversing the far-flung waters of Patagonia and Antarctica. Now, she is cruising in warmer climes and will be heading back to the Caribbean for charter guests looking to enjoy hotspots such as Antigua and the Virgin Islands.
Since she is accepting offers, prospective charterers benefit from the world-class amenities on board Planet Nine while snapping up a saving. The go-anywhere yacht enjoys an array of luxury facilities, including a helicopter hangar, home cinema and indulgent spa facilities.
Launched in 2018 by Admiral Yachts, the superyacht sports exterior design from the renowned Tim Heywood, complemented by interiors which are a collaboration between Mlinaric and Henry & Zervudachi. She boasts nine spacious cabins suitable for 12 guests in total, and the principal charter guest can take advantage of an owner’s suite which comprises around 2,700 square footage of space.
The megayacht has space to comfortably accommodate two helicopters, including a seven-passenger chopper, and an ice-class hull capable of slicing through six-inch thick ice. However, her on-board energy still exudes luxury, with exotic wood accents and art deco touches. For movie nights while at sea, a home theatre with a 119 inch screen is located on the main deck.

Crowning the motor yacht, the sundeck plays host to a spa pool fringed by sunpads and a seating area where guests can soak up magnificent views wherever they cruise. Those looking to cool off with a dip in the sea can head to the swim platform, where guests can also make use of an enormous variety of water toys, including Jet-Skis, scuba-diving equipment, an inflatable trampoline and Seabobs.
Adjacent to the swim platform, the yacht’s wellness facilities are laid out invitingly. The spa features a fold-down balcony to enhance the feeling of proximity to the ocean, while a steam room is on hand to complete the pampering experience. Those looking to keep active while chartering can make use out of Planet Nine’s expansive gym facilities.
