The award-winning 95m/312ft motor yacht KISMET was spotted filming for new Michael Bay movie ‘Six Underground’ in Italy last week.
One of the most revered yachts on the charter market, Lurssen's KISMET is now branching into show-business, bagging herself a leading role in new action-thriller ‘Six Underground’.
With filming already underway in Taranto, Italy, KISMET was spotted filming a high-speed chase scene off the coast.
Breaking records with an 150 million dollar budget, Netflix is partnering with Skydance Media to co-finance and distribute the film. Set for release in 2019, ‘Six Underground’ sees legendary filmmaker Michael Bay at the helm, with A-list cast members including Deadpool’s Ryan Reynolds.
Although the plot remains firmly under wraps, we can expect exhilarating action and high-speed drama from the scribes also responsible for the Deadpool series, Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese. The movie will be set against the beautiful backdrop of southern Italy.
A recently-released video gives us a glimpse into the filming of 'Six Underground'. From behind the buildings of Taranto, the yacht's distinctive hull can be seen peaking out, before she makes her way out onto the open water. A helicopter circles the superyacht, filming the scene.
KISMET is still at the top of charter game, with Beyonce and Jay-Z chartering her for a vacation around Italy over the summer. The yacht was built by Lurssen in 2014, with a sleek exterior by Espen Oieno and groundbreaking interior design by Reymond Langton.
She boasts a multi-level swimming pool, video panels on the walls, and two Helipads, one of which doubles as a basketball court. She was the longest yacht in attendance at the Monaco Yacht Show 2018, and could be seen at anchor just outside Port Hercules.
