Superyacht GO hits the water: Tankoa successfully launch first T450

By Anna Ingles   6 February 2024

Tankoa Yachts has welcomed its first unit of the T450 series with the successful launch of the luxury motor yacht GO. Sold in late 2021 and recently christened at the Genoa shipyard in Italy, this anticipated launch represents a new venture for Tankoa Yachts into the sub-50-meter class, without compromising their renowned commitment to quality, comfort, and innovation.

Showcasing a captivating design penned by Cassetta - Yacht Design & Architecture, motor yacht GO boasts a harmonious balance of bold vertical and sleek horizontal lines.

Constructed with steel and aluminum, the 45m (147.8ft) superyacht maintains Tankoa's classic aesthetics while venturing into new design territory. Originally set to be 430GT, the American owner reportedly requested an increase to 450GT, thus enhancing the interior volume.

Not only a sight to behold but also a haven of luxury, motor yacht GO features a vast master cabin on the main deck and five additional comfortable guest suites on the lower deck.

The interiors are bathed in natural light thanks to extensive windows, highlighting the feeling of space onboard. A standout feature is the generous beach club, complete with opening side platforms and a sliding sun pad that ingeniously conceals the pool when the yacht is underway, a perfect amenity for relaxing afternoons on a Mediterranean yacht charter.

The Tankoa T450 M/Y Go is a testament to the collaborative efforts between the shipyard, client, and designer, resulting in a yacht that reflects Tankoa's capabilities within a more compact frame.

For guests who want to make the most of the sun and sweeping views of iconic yacht charter destinations, the large sundeck is equipped with a hydromassage tub and shaded alfresco dining area, perfect for enjoying the open sea. Health and wellness have not been overlooked, with a dedicated gym and a unique fire pit located on the upper deck.

With the second unit of the T450 series already under construction, motor yacht GO is currently gearing up for delivery in the spring and anticipates appearances at the forthcoming autumn boat shows, where she will make her international debut.

It is unknown whether motor yacht GO will be joining the yacht charter fleet, however, if you're interested in yacht rentals and want to learn more about availability over the summer season, contact your preferred yacht charter broker today.
