Perini Navi Sailing Yacht ‘State of Grace’ Opens for St Barths Bucket Charter

By Rebecca Bradbury   5 January 2017

The widely esteemed 40m/129ft luxury yacht ‘State of Grace’ is available for an exhilarating regatta charter at the 2017 St Barths Bucket, taking place in the Caribbean from 16th to 19th March.

Embodying unparalleled Perini Navi pedigree, State of Grace was engineered for exceptionally fast cruising, and now charterers can join her incredible race crew and take on other competitors in the prestigious St Barths Bucket Regatta.

Among the yacht’s cutting-edge technology is an innovative control system, a 50-metre mast and a carbon fibre furling boom. Further enhancing her sailing performance is a 1,192-metre-square sail plain and, what’s more, the America’s Cup tactician forms part of her crew.

Those on a regatta yacht charter will be able to retreat into her impeccably finished accommodation after each day of racing and even take a few days out either side of the meet to explore the idyllic coast of St Barts at more leisurely pace.

The sailing yacht is certainly well-primed for relaxation thanks to a professional shiatsu machine and a Turkish steam shower in the master suite. Plus, her spacious Bimini covered cockpit area is an ideal spot to unwind after a day’s racing.

Other stand-out features include her beautifully styled interior, which combines handsome walnut floors, contemporary furniture pieces such as Ralph Lauren carbon fibre armchairs, and exquisite sculptures and paintings from the owner’s personal collection.

A split-level main salon with a large skylight invites guests to unwind aboard superyacht State of Grace, and she is able to sleep up to nine guests in four luxuriously appointed staterooms, including a master cabin, two VIP cabins and a twin cabin with a Pullman berth.

When not competing, guests can explore the ocean from a different perspective thanks to her large water toy collection, among which are inflatable toys, water skis, wakeboards, a Seabob and a fishing chair with full deep-sea fishing equipment.

St Barths Bucket attracts the most prestigious international sailing yachts in the world to the Caribbean waters and, held in in Port Gustavia over three days in March each year, fuses serious performance with serious after-hours fun.
