Papua New Guinea charter deal announced on luxury yacht SPIRIT

By Katia Damborsky   12 February 2019

The 35m/115ft luxury catamaran SPIRIT is withdrawing her delivery fees in the last two weeks of April, allowing those looking for a Papua New Guinea yacht charter vacation to benefit from a fantastic saving.

Offering the unique opportunity for charterers to explore the resplendent cruising grounds of Papua New Guinea, SPIRIT will transport guests around the region in supreme comfort and style.

Situated north of Australia in the heart of the South Pacific, this less-traveled country is primed for adventure. Lapped by crystalline waters and swathed in dense jungles, the mainland and its neighboring island chains serve up a mesmerising mix of diverse wildlife, ivory-sand beaches and fascinating tribal cultures.

Launched by New Zealand Yachts in 2004, SPIRIT underwent a refit in 2016 that has left her exterior and interior design by Ken Freivokh. Her strong and sophisticated profile is complemented by spacious and light-infused interiors with charming furnishings that lend an overarching feeling of warmth.

Furthermore, the catamaran has been designed to maximise volume, and the result is a yacht with a combined exterior and interior area equivalent to a superyacht of 45 metres.

In the heart of the South Pacific, Papua New Guinea is primed for adventure.

When it comes to outdoor living, guests are spoilt for choice. Perhaps her most enviable spot is her hydraulic swim platform located aft, which can be invitingly laid-out with a seating arrangement or be used as a tranquil spot for a mid-morning yoga session.

In addition, guests will find alfresco dining on the main deck and a sundeck equipped with sunpads and a wet bar. For those looking to sit back and admire the lush scenery floating past, they can do so in the enclosed foredeck seating area.

Stepping inside, guests will find accommodation for 12 guests across five cabins which embody similar themes of comfort and understated sophistication. After a long day on the water, the principal charter guests can enjoy a well-appointed master suite which boasts a private balcony.

Fun-lovers are well-catered to aboard SPIRIT, as the motor yacht enjoys plenty of water toys and accessories, and a resident dive master and kiteboarding instructor are on hand to help guests get to grips with the selection.

This treasure trove of toys will certainly be put to good use in Papua New Guinea, as the turquoise waters and incredible dive sites will contribute to a truly memorable and fun-filled yacht charter vacation.
