Lurssen Motor Yacht CAPRI Joins Monaco Yacht Show 2016 Line Up

By Rebecca Bradbury   13 September 2016

The 59m/192ft superyacht CAPRI will join the world-class selection of luxury yachts attending the 2016 Monaco Yacht Show, which gets underway in just over a fortnights’ time.

Delivered in 2003, CAPRI embodies the high-quality craftsmanship for which Lurssen is renowned and the voluptuous curves of her exterior will ensure she stands out from the crowd in the Monaco hotspot of Port Hercules.

Named after the isle of Capri, she also takes design inspiration across her voluminous five decks from the Italian island, which is likewise sure to impress visitors to the show thanks to the exquisite styling from Glade Johnson Design.

Elegant and formal, the main salon features glossy anigre and maple burl with ebony inlays and some silk panels for the walls. Charter guests can host dinner parties around the huge, oval dining table before enjoying drinks in the sumptuous lounge, complete with a grand piano.

For a more laid back atmosphere, head to the skylounge which, complete with a wide screen TV and portside bar, continues the entertainment options. While other interior highlights include a small library and a stylish observation room, located forward on the fifth deck.

An air-conditioned gymnasium lies aft of the observation lounge and looks out across the sundeck, where a Jacuzzi and chaise loungers await your arrival for hours of relaxation in the glorious sunshine of the Mediterranean or Caribbean.

The main deck aft of charter yacht CAPRI offers an informal seating area, perfect for pre-dinner drinks or a casual lunch, whereas a larger alfresco option is found on the upper deck aft. There is also a small and secluded lounge on the foredeck.

After a busy day on your charter vacation, guests can retreat into one of six cabins, which comprise a full-beam master suite with a private office, sensational views and a spa tub, three double cabins and two twin cabins.

Other assets of the motor yacht include helicopter landing capability, an on-board masseuse and a plethora of water toys, including Jet Skis, stand-up paddle boards, windsurfers, kayaks, wakeboards, water skis and an inflatable trampoline.

The voluptuous curves of her exterior will ensure she stands out from the crowd in the Monaco hotspot of Port Hercules
