In transit: latest Feadship Project 825 relocates to Kaag

By Nina Done   20 July 2023

After emerging from her construction shed last week, Feadship’s 76m (249ft) Project 825, has left the Dutch builder's yard for the first time as she makes her way to their Kaag facility to continue her fitting out.

Onlookers watched as the impressive steel and aluminum motor yacht was towed along the Dutch waterways to her next destination.

With exterior styling by long-time Feadship collaborator Studio De Voogt, she sports a plumb bow and simple profile characterized by clean lines and plenty of space for glazing. Meanwhile, Paris-based Giles & Boissier – whose portfolio includes the five-star Baccarat Hotel in New York – are responsible for her interiors.

Feadship have confirmed the four-deck yacht features a large transom beach club, which opens out on both sides to create a beautiful waterside haven for her guests. Similar to Feadship yacht FAITH, she will also feature a glass-bottomed swimming pool on her main deck aft, adding a shimmering blue light effect to her beach club below.

As well as her swimming pool, her main deck aft also plays host to a convivial cabana bar and lounge area replete with sliding glass doors that can be opened out to create a harmonious connection with her surroundings.

Another key feature is her wellness center on the bridge deck, incorporating a sauna and climate-controlled gymnasium that can be opened out for alfresco workouts. This overlooks an outdoor terrace which will be equipped with a bar and lounge area, as well as a hot tub surrounded by sunpads.

Offering direct access to her beach club, her lower deck guest accommodation is made up of two double cabins, one twin and one convertible double/twin cabin, with a further VIP suite on her main deck featuring a bathroom, walk-in-closet and lounge with a private balcony.

Her Owner stateroom, meanwhile, offers a lounge leading out to a private terrace and shaded dining area with views across her wide bow – which doubles as a touch-and-go helipad.

Project 825 is powered by twin 2,000hp MTU diesel for a top speed of 15 knots, cruising speed of 12 knots and a transatlantic range of 5,000 nm.

Scheduled for delivery at the end of 2024, it is not expected that she will be made available for charter. If you’re interested in renting a yacht of a similar caliber, you can view and compare all Feadship superyachts for charter.
