The award-winning 74m/241ft motor yacht MOGAMBO from Nobiskrug is available for charter this winter at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, as well as in the spectacularly beautiful waters of the Maldives.
Hidden within the sleek and sporty profile of MOGAMBO, the 2012 build from Nobiskrug, is an oasis of understated African influences and the latest amenities. Designed with the charterer in mind, she is the perfect platform for discerning travellers looking for a vacation with a difference this winter.
Multiple entertaining areas across the expansive decks ensure she can host large numbers gathered to watch the thrilling action of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in unparalleled luxury, while intimate snugs allow family and close friends to feel at home when on a private charter vacation in the Indian Ocean.
As soon as guests step on board, they will be wowed by her luxurious yet laidback outdoor offerings. On the main deck aft, loungers open to the sun and a large covered seating area invites relaxation, just steps away from an alfresco dining option.
A second open-air dining setup is located on the upper deck aft but, for the ultimate in outdoor living, the sundeck is the place to be. Guests can wind down in the spa pool before drying off on the expanse of sunbeds and watching a film in the alfresco cinema.
There is also a gym up on the sundeck. Exercise while taking in wonderful panoramas of the Indian Ocean and your hard work can be rewarded in the beach club spa, which counts a sauna and beauty salon among its facilities.
Charter yacht MOGAMBO takes her name from the African word for ‘the greatest’, as well as the 1953 film starring Clark Gable, Ava Gardner and Grace Kelly. Reymond Langton Design has brought these influences of 1950s glamour and African outposts up to date and created a modern and sophisticated interior.
Flanked by floor-to-ceiling windows, the main salon impresses with its ebonised American walnut floors, dark sycamore walls, silk upholstered furniture, feature wall of backlit sandblasted and acid-etched glass and custom-made walnut bar.
The skylounge similarly wows with its attention to detail, as do the seven guest cabins, which include a full-beam master suite, four double cabins - two of which can convert into twin cabins - and two further twin cabins. In total, the motor yacht can sleep up to 12 guests on a yacht charter.
