Below Deck Down Under Season 2 yacht revealed - M/Y Northern Sun

Hit reality TV show Below Deck Down Under returns to Bravo TV on Saturday July 17 at 8/7c for its highly-anticipated second season, this time on board the 51m (167ft) yacht NORTHERN SUN, with the coastal paradise of Cairns in Australia’s northern Queensland providing the glittering backdrop.

Headed up once more by the handsome Captain Jason Chambers, he is joined by returning chief stewardess, Aesha Scott, along with a brand new crew, including Chef Tzarina Mace-Ralph, Bosun Luke Jones and stews Laura Bileskaine and Margot Sisson.

Captain Jason and Chief Stew Aesha reunite for an unforgettable, full-throttle charter season with a lively new crew and wild guests in the stunning waters of Cairns – gateway to the Great Barrier Reef.

Luxury yacht NORTHERN SUN

Promising another round of crew antics and high drama, the bulk of the action takes place on board the 51m (167ft) yacht NORTHERN SUN, a world-class expedition yacht with a wealth of experience traversing the globe. 

Usually found cruising the beautiful South East Asian regions of Malaysia and Thailand, the yacht traveled to Australia where filming for the new season began in Spring 2022.

Primed for adventure and boasting a wealth of luxurious amenities and an eye-catching exterior, charter guests will experience memorable yacht charters in the utmost style and comfort. 

Her accommodation is provided for 12 guests across six cabins, with a flexible configuration for a variety of different arrangements.

Gateway to the Great Barrier Reef

Set against the stunning backdrop of Cairns in Northern Queensland, each charter showcases the majestic underwater world of Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, combined with non-stop adventure as the crew and guests test the captain’s patience to the limits. 

As usual, the crew dynamics will be in the spotlight and viewers can expect fireworks of both the romantic and dramatic variety.  A trailer for the new season shows unruly guests, a “love pentagon”, rift between stews and some serious costly errors as deckhands find their stride on board the yacht, ensuring the show will likely be another success for the Bravo franchise.
