By Rebecca Bradbury   15 August 2016

Although the summer high season will soon be drawing to a close, there is still plenty of time to book a last-minute charter vacation thanks to a fine selection of yachts offering special rates throughout the month of September.

The peak yachting season is now in full swing, but don’t despair if you are yet to book your summer yacht charter.

Locations across the Mediterranean and beyond boast fine weather well into September, and visiting during this month comes with the added bonus of escaping the prime-time crowds.

Take a look at this impressive line-up of yachts offering late-summer charter deals and you won't be disappointed with your last-mintue getaway.

1. BLUSH

Ibiza makes for a fantastic late-summer charter destination and, fittingly, the 47m/155ft motor yacht BLUSH is available in the waters of the Spanish island at a reduced rate of €160,000 per week throughout September.

Offering a 20% saving, BLUSH was built in 2014 by Sunseeker as part of the UK yard’s 155 series and benefits from seductive interior styling, which sees light oak panelling and cabinetry offset by accents of pale green, jade and silver.

Drop-down side balconies enhance her main salon and skylounge, and add to her other chic deck areas, including an expansive sundeck with a Jacuzzi, sleek bar and alfresco dining option, and a fabulous beach club where guests can relax close to the water.

The master suite has its own private terrace too while all staterooms boast beautiful décor and sumptuous fabrics. In total, the charter yacht can sleep up to 10 guests and has a flexible accommodation setup.

She is available at her special rate throughout the Balearic Islands as well as the French Riviera.

2. MISCHIEF

The 54m/177ft superyacht MISCHIEF, launched in 2006 by Italian yard Baglietto, is open to offers throughout September along the glittering coastline of the French Riviera. After an interior refresh over the winter, which included upgrades to her AV systems, she remains in optimal condition for luxury yacht charters this autumn.

Standout features include an eight-person Sienna SPA pool, an infinity edged sunbathing layout, a sundeck gym and a multitude of exciting water toys to match her status as an approved RYA water sports training centre.

Her serene interior styling from Francesco Paszkowski matches the glamour of iconic port towns along the French coast such as St Tropez and Cannes, and create a wonderful environment in which to retreat after a day spent soaking up the late-summer sunshine and dazzling sights.

Able to host up to 100 guests at quayside corporate charters, she can comfortably sleep up to 12 guests in six sophisticated staterooms, including a full-beam master suite, three double cabins and two twin cabins.

3. ORIENT STAR

A stylish 2012 offering from CMB Yachts, the 47m/154ft luxury yacht ‘Orient Star’ has lowered her weekly base rate for September and October charters in her native waters of Turkey.

The Turquoise Coast boasts an average temperature of 23 degrees in September and so guests will still be able to make the most of Orient Star’s chic deck areas, among which is an expansive sundeck complete with a Jacuzzi, seating area, alfresco bar and plenty of sunning opportunities.

Award-winning Briton Tara Bernerd is behind the yacht’s stunning interior, designed especially around entertaining family and friends.

Rich materials, unique artwork and a palette of grey and white create a chic and contemporary feel in the sociable main salon and separate dining room, while the skylounge is sure to impress with floor-to-ceiling windows and French-style balconies.

The luxe styling continues into the five staterooms, comprising of a full-beam master suite with stunning views and a study area, two double cabins and two twin cabins.

4. MARAE

The award-winning 33m/108ft sailing yacht MARAE delivered by New Zealand-based Alloys Yachts in 2004 is dropping her weekly charter base rate from $47,200 to $37,760 this autumn as she makes her way southwards through New England and Chesapeake Bay.

Charterers taking advantage of her 20% discount will be able to experience the yacht’s powerful performance, inviting deck spaces and timeless interior first hand. Her lines penned by Ted Fontaine are sure to enchant too as they capture the essence of a classic sailing yacht

Pronounced ‘Mar-eye’, her name is taken from the Polynesian word for ‘meeting place’ and, accordingly, she offers a welcoming environment throughout from her semi-alfresco pilothouse and upper salon to her social areas below deck furnished in handsome walnut.

Able to sleep six guests in three cabins, MARAE also boasts a treasure chest of the latest water toys as well as a shoal draft, which allows her to reach hidden bays and anchorages that other yachts of her size cannot access.
