On the White Isle, beautiful, sunny days continue well beyond the peak summer months of the charter season. Throughout September visitors enjoy just under eight hours of sunshine per day as well as temperatures ranging from a pleasant 21°C to a glorious 25°C.
Indeed, September offers a welcome relief from the hot and sticky months of July and August, making on-land exploration a much more attractive prospect.
Whether hiking scenic coastal routes or cycling through the verdant pine forests, visitors can do so while avoiding soaring temperatures.
The coastal waters, however, remain at a warm 26°C, meaning yacht-goers can continue to bask on the beach and take a dip in the azure waters as autumn approaches.

Yacht-goers wanting to experience Ibiza’s renowned nightlife will be pleased to hear that the hippest bars remain open throughout the low season and the legendary clubs host spectacular closing parties that reach their climax in early October.
Many of the big clubs open up outdoor arenas to offer a unique clubbing experience and big-name DJs return for one last time, spinning the songs that defined the summer and seeing the season off in style.
Among the famous venues to be seen at are Pacha, one of the island’s oldest clubbing institutions; Privilege, billed as the ‘World’s Biggest Club’; DC-10, the home of underground electronic music and Ibiza Rocks Hotel, which attracts top music acts such as the Kaiser Chiefs, Kasabian and Tinie Temper.
4. SEE THE REAL IBIZA

September is a month full of wonderful festivals on the isle of Ibiza. Known to the locals as fiestas, the events commemorate the Patron Saint of each town, a long-standing tradition throughout Hispanic culture.
For example, the small town of Jesus, situated just a few kilometres outside of Ibiza Town, comes alive on September 8th as islanders celebrate the Patron Saint’s day of Jesus.
Traditional dancing and a parade of horse drawn carts take place in front of the 15th-century church, while a programme of chess tournaments, wine making demonstrations, clay pigeon shooting, organised walks and mountain bike trials runs throughout the town and its surrounds.
Meanwhile, the tiny village of San Mateo celebrates its Patron Saint’s Day on September 21st and sees parades, folk dancing, live music, and much feasting and drinking throughout its picturesque streets.
