- Day 1
King George Island
Venture to the Great White Continent
Antarctica is one of the most unexplored places on the planet, but with more exceptional expedition yachts emerging onto the charter market each year, its accessibility among the world’s most elite travelers is on the up.
Arrive via Punta Arenas and meet your vessel on King George Island where your adventure will begin. You will be greeted by your 5-star crew and enjoy a freshly prepared lunch on board before settling into your surroundings. Your private yacht rental will then depart, taking you and your charter guests through Bransfield Strait showcasing an untouched world of rolling oceans, icy blue glaciers and phenomenal scenery.
- Day 2
Deception Island
Head South for further adventure
Prepare for a totally unique experience as you cruise to one of the only places in the world where yachts can cruise into the crater of a live volcano. Deception Island is simply unmissable, a place filled with great opportunities for adventure enthusiasts.
The C-shaped island has a protected bay in which to anchor, from which guests can take a tender ashore and explore the once-busy whaling stations that date back to 1906, dig their feet into the black sand to feel the heat from the subterranean volcanic vents and get up close with local chinstrap penguins. For those feeling daring, swim in the thermally heated waters of Pendulum Cove and admire the snowy peaks around you, an activity only a few can say they have achieved.
- Day 3
Antarctic Sound
Cruise to a place of peace and tranquility
Affectionately known as Iceberg Alley, Antarctic Sound is scattered with an abundance of wildlife and dotted with drifting icebergs flowing north from the Weddell Sea.
Areas within the Antarctic Sound that are not to be missed include Paulet Island, which stands out thanks to its distinctive 353-meter-high volcanic cone, iceberg-filled Cierva Cove and Paradise Harbour, so-called because of the beautiful glaciated mountains and ice cliffs that surround it. Keep an eye out for the emperor penguins that roam here, many like to play and sit on the ice.
If you are interested in visiting a research station, where resident scientists will be keen to share their latest findings on topics such as the continent’s wildlife, climate, geology and flora, there is a fantastic Argentinian Base Primavera Scientific Research Centre on Ciera Cove.
- Day 4
Gerlache Strait
Tranquil surroundings and outstanding scenery
From the comfort of your luxury charter yacht, cruise to the west of the Antarctic Peninsula to immerse yourself in this other-worldly region.
The Gerlache Strait is not only one of the most glorious places to whale watch, but it is primed with skyscraper-high cliffs and bright blue glaciers that calve directly into the sea. Picture perfect and simply breathtaking, guests can jump into a tender or enjoy a kayak tour of the remarkable bays and harbors that are situated here. If you’re lucky, you'll most likely catch a glimpse of waddling penguins and elephant seals who also enjoy playing in this Arctic region.

Encompassing the most mirror-like waters, the Lemaire Channel is the perfect place to soak up the wonderful scenery and relax onboard. Admire the majestic icebergs and keep an eye out for a pod of humpback whales swimming alongside your vessel, you'll notice circles of bubbles on the water as they come to the surface. Ice-climbing and abseiling are also possible and the Lemaire Channel abounds with rock-climbing opportunities.
- Day 6
Neko Harbour
Follow in the footsteps of great explorers
Wake up at Neko Harbour, which was originally named after a Scottish whaling ship that operated in the area between 1911 and 1924.
This is an area perfect for glacier encounters and provides guests with great views of Gentoo penguins in their natural habitat. A pleasing area in Antarctica’s larger Andvord Bay, Neko Harbour is a scenic landing site where you can get closer to the glaciers and explore the region on your boat’s tender or a kayak. After a morning of venturing in the wilderness, jump back on board for an afternoon of spa treatments as you make the most of your superyacht's wellness facilities. As the sun sets, enjoy a champagne dinner on board, reminiscing on all the experiences you have accumulated on your yacht charter vacation so far.
- Day 7
Livingston Island
Wake up in a wildlife haven
Home to around 1500 pairs of Gentoo penguins and approximately 1000 pairs of Chinstrap penguins, Hannah Point is renowned for its abundance of spectacular wildlife.
Located on Livingston Island, this is a place where guests can capture unforgettable moments with the nature around them, interacting and watching the wildlife flying, waddling and swimming around you. If you’re feeling like an escapade, climb up the hill above Hannah Point to reveal outstanding views of the surrounding area and a better view of the elephant and fur seals that laze on the sheltered beach below. We guarantee you will not regret it.
- Day 8
King George Island
Disembark back on King George Island, Maxwell Bay
You will arrive safely back in Maxwell Bay for a final farewell to your expedition yacht crew and one last glimpse of the extraordinary wilderness of the Great White Continent.
